The authorities of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have announced the commencement of 2026 bursary for diligent but indigent students as part of her educational support initiatives for students in public higher institutions.
The council announced the commencement of application for the bursary on Monday, 21st September, 2026 and it will run through to Thursday 24th September,2026. Screening of the applicants is scheduled for Monday 28th September,2026

According to the council, interested applicants must be genuine Indigene and Resident of Ijede LCDA; Be currently studying in any approved public Higher Institution of learning and Must Possess Valid evidence of Studentship.
Applicants are also expected to possess the following documents for screening:
- Two Recent Passport Photographs
- Birth Certificate
- Letter of Admission
- Current School Fees receipt
- Identification Letter, Strictly from Alajede of Ijede Kingdom or Obateru of Egbin Kingdom
- Letter of Indigeneship or residence from Ijede LCDA
- Valid School ID Card
- Most recent School Statement of Result
